Demo buying note / Quote preparation

What to prepare for a useful wholesale quote

Product, quantity unit, destination and packing direction make a stronger starting point than an unsupported target price.

Give the quote a defined scope

Choose the item or describe the buying task, then state the estimated quantity and unit. A concept brief can still be useful if it clearly marks the design and material questions that remain open.

  • Name the product or category and intended use.
  • State pieces, sets or cartons alongside the quantity.
  • Add any sample, logo or retail-pack direction.

Explain where the goods are headed

The destination country is a useful starting point. If known, add a destination port or delivery scope. Ask for the named shipping basis, the costs it covers and the costs it excludes. Neither destination freight nor import costs should be assumed from a product reference.

Compare the same specification

Before comparing figures, check the selling unit, product revision, packing, quantity and shipping basis. Confirm the quote validity and how lead time is counted. This demo has no live prices or guaranteed lead times; its inquiry only creates a local preview.

  • Keep the specification and packing version with the quote.
  • List exclusions and unresolved assumptions.
  • Confirm commercial terms with the supplier before ordering.

Keep this in your brief

An estimate is enough to start. Keep unknowns visible so the quote can address them.
