All images in this directory are free-to-use stock reference photographs under the [Pexels License](https://www.pexels.com/license/), downloaded on 2026-10-21. They do not depict CULVORO premises, personnel, products, clients, projects or shipments, and do not imply photographer or subject endorsement.

## Download and processing

The source CDN URL for each photo is `https://images.pexels.com/photos/PHOTO_ID/pexels-photo-PHOTO_ID.jpeg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&w=1400`, with PHOTO_ID from the linked source above. Sources were downloaded with curl, then EXIF orientation was applied and metadata removed using Pillow. Each was center-cropped with Lanczos resampling and encoded as WebP at quality 70 (method 6). No synthetic photography or certificate scans are included. Existing responsive hero images remain unchanged and are credited separately in `/demo/hero/README.md` and the site footer.

The ten exported images total less than 380,000 bytes. They are served locally with Next.js `images.unoptimized: true`; below-fold images use lazy loading. The certificate placeholders on `/cases/` are HTML/CSS illustrations, explicitly marked “Certificate placeholder” and “No document issued”; they are not issued qualifications and contain no issuer seals or certification logos.

Existing product photos and demo concept illustrations remain unchanged, with credits on product detail pages. Category tiles reuse the image of a product or concept from the relevant category.
